15

A minha amiga Christine desafiou-me a escolher os meus 15 autores preferidos.

My good friend Christine, ma copine, challenged me to choose 15 of my favorite authors. Well, I'm not very obedient so I'll tell you my authors and titles or both. From my childhood, I read and read "Gulliver's travel" by Jonathan Swift, Petzi and the Schtroumpf, the books by Stephen Kellog, by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andersen, Quino and his great Mafalda, Simone and Georges Monläu's encyclopedias ("Why?" "What's this?" "How does it work?"). From my adolescence to the adult age, Fernando Pessoa, William Golding (and the magnificent "Lord of the flies"), Jorge Amado, Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, Ana Teresa Pereira (her books are hypnotic to me). And back to the childhood, Emily Gravett, Suzy Lee, all the books from Planeta Tangerina, Quentin Blake and many, many more.
Oh, and this one, "It's a book" by Lane Smith, it will be in my hands very soon!
Janis and Maria what about you?

  2. Impressive list. I wonder whether my boys are too young for Amado - they're always short on books, and reading this post gave me an idea. What do you think?
