A Summer's day

A Summer's day: catching the boat, going to the other side of the river, walking side-by-side with the Tagus river towards the sea with the bridge in the horizon (for you Janis). Arriving to a cafe's terrace with a view to Lisbon.

From Ieva

The book I bought from Ieva had inside these lovely postcards. I was so happy! I wanted it for a while and you've just guessed, dear Ieva...Thank you:)

"Un toit dans la forêt", russian book from 1984, written by Vitali Bianki and illustrated with watercolors by Maï Mitouritch was bought here and it was a love at first sight. As we open the book, swallows fly towards the reader and the drawings are so beautiful and the colors are so impressive...Turning the pages and getting to the end of the book is just hard!
The book tells four different stories. The first one is about a lost swallow and his way to find home, the second one about a sparrow looking for a place to live and nest and his struggle with a big red cat, the third one about an ant trying to get home and the fourth one about a puppy and his adventures as a hunter.
Wonderful bedtime stories...

Obrigada! Talvez possa contar as minhas preocupações a esta senhora sorridente...

I was lucky enough to win a matrioska's stone and three delicate little fishes from Granny. Thank you! Maybe I can tell all my worries to this smiling lady...

O meu macaco e eu

Martine, vamos brincar?

One more book from my favorite author. My monkey is the brother of the one from the book and I know a little girl who'd love to live this adventure. Let's play, Martine?
